I understand that a lot of people of all different kinds of ethnic origins are angry at the way white people treated their ancestors / are still…

All the people here saying that there isn’t reverse racism should tell the 9-year-old me why, when she went to a majority black school (I was the only white girl in my grade), why I was bullied to the point where I had to be transferred out of the school. I could say more about that subject, but unlike everyone else who has posted so far, I’m not going to bore you with back story and shit y’all don’t care about..or really..care to hear.

Have I been subjected to years of racism? Hell no I haven’t. Are white people suppressed? They’re only as suppressed as they allow themselves to be..

But reverse racism does exist in several forms and anyone who says otherwise can suck my taint.

I briefly read through some of the original comments, and I basically agree with Lily’s statement ^^. Of course everyone has the capability to be racist- and anyone and everyone can be affected by racism. It’s not simply the idea of white superiority, it’s treating anyone differently simply for being a separate race from you. I don’t call it reverse racism- I just call it racism, and that’s how it was defined by my professor and textbook for my Stereotyping and Prejudice class. Obviously I’m not an expert, but denying that a race of people can be racist is, inherently, racist.
